Job Summary:
Journeyman Millwrights will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities at the Dillard Lumber mill site.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work safely and effectively in a team environmentInspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repairTroubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs or adjustments to improve operationAssist with planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals or field researchPerforms precision repairs on mill equipment.

Performs preventive maintenance inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on mill equipment and building systems as required to ensure reliability of the operationCleans and assists with upkeep of the mill facilityPerforms other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Consistent and predictable attendanceAbility and willingness to cross-train into new jobs and skillsAbility to work a manufacturing shift configuration (24/7)Ability to follow instructions and interpret drawingsKnowledge of maintenance practices repairAbility to use hand tools and power toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of a CMMSKnowledge of Precision Maintenance techniques, mechanical and / or electrical and instrumentation
Experience:
4+ years experience as Millwright in production environment
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walkingMust be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spacesMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
