Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician Job If you are the person everyone calls when production equipment goes down, this opportunity deserves a look. A well-established manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and help keep the plant running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys figuring out why equipment failed — and fixing the problem instead of simply replacing parts. What You'll Be Doing Troubleshoot and repair industrial production machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Repair conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors and related equipment Troubleshoot sensors, VFDs and basic PLC-controlled equipment Perform equipment alignments, adjustments and changeouts Assist with fabrication, welding and equipment modifications as needed Read mechanical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals Document repairs and maintenance activity Work closely with production to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability What We're Looking For Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge of motors, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and pumps Electrical troubleshooting experience is highly desirable PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus Millwright, industrial mechanic or maintenance mechanic backgrounds are encouraged Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently Experience in electrical troubleshooting
