POSITION SUMMARY

The maintenance technician will oversee the upkeep of our facilities. This role will leverage technical experience — from plumbing to carpentry to electrical systems — to ensure the continued stability of operations. Responsible for performing building inspections, repairs and installation and maintenance of equipment. The maintenance technician will solve problems and facilitate excellent conditions for our customers and workers.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of prior experience working in Building Maintenance.

ESSENTAL RESPONSIBILITES

• Responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the facility and safety and wellness of direct labor team members.
• Responsible to ensure process adherence to all applicable quality procedures to assure quality product with priority for patient safety.
• Communicate regularly with plant personnel to maintain a high level of morale.
• Run routine maintenance inspections of the facility.
• Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation.
• Support outside vendor maintenance and installment work as needed.
• Performs installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance procedures and identifies issues by monitoring mechanical devices in operation.
• Manages inventory of equipment parts and supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Conducts visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment; dismantles defective machines/equipment and installs new or refurbished parts.
• Adheres to EPA and DEP regulations, including maintaining pH levels for wastewater, and may coordinate directly with company consultants regarding state and federal compliance.
• Plans, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and associated hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components.
• Responsible for plant electrical maintenance and panel upgrades.
• Oversees the maintenance of the Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) of the plant.
• All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years pf building maintenance experience.

HAZWOPER

Certification preferred.

• Preferred electrical voltage knowledge, all levels and phases.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues.
