Grade 12 Reports to: Supervisor Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations as well as any safety policies and protocols outlined by the company
- Must be able to perform work with limited supervision or assistance.
- Record all work information in the GT Computerized Maintenance Management Software via company issued tablet. Ability to grow in overall knowledge of equipment repair, assembly, troubleshooting, and assessing the performance of all equipment, tools, instruments, buildings, utility infrastructure, and grounds within the site. This will be tracked for potential department progression.
- Ability to replace failed instrumentation components with like for like replacement. For example, temperature controllers, proximity switches, solid state relays.
- Perform all duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform all work in accordance with Company's Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policy, and Company Rules.
- Perform miscellaneous duties within the entire interior or exterior of the site as directed by Supervision.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform associated paperwork such as: Equipment maintenance records.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience performing essential duties and responsibilities in an industrial manufacturing environment. Willingness to proactively stay on top of relevant maintenance technological advancements and subjects via continuous education or training. Achieve a passing score of 65% or better on the Ramsay multi-craft entry exam.
- Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Ability to continuously work in positions requiring grasping and repetitive movement.
- Ability to frequently work in positions requiring kneeling, standing, walking, climbing and performing repetitive movement tasks.
- Ability to work in positions involving heights, confined spaces and temperature extremes.
