• 38/hr | Full-Time | Local Field Work | Pittsburgh Area We are looking for an experienced Combo Welder-Field Tech with a strong industrial field background and hands-on experience with pipe welding, boilers, heat exchangers, re-tubes, or pressure equipment .

This position combines welding and mechanical field work. Candidates must have actual industrial field experience and be comfortable working in plants, shutdowns, and other industrial environments. Combo Welder-Field Tech

• Field Work Perform field repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment.

Weld and repair industrial pipe and pressure piping. Perform welding work on boilers, heat exchangers, re-tubes, and pressure vessels. Perform equipment repair, installation, alignment, and mechanical work as needed. Read and interpret prints, drawings, and welding procedures. Perform TIG/GTAW and Stick/SMAW welding on industrial piping and equipment. Work safely in industrial plants, shutdowns, and field environments. Assist with millwright and mechanical tasks as required. Combo Welder-Field Tech

• Qualifications Millwright, pipefitter, industrial mechanic, or similar mechanical background preferred.

Hands-on industrial field experience required. Experience welding pipe using TIG/GTAW and Stick/SMAW . Experience with boilers, heat exchangers, re-tubes, pressure vessels, or pressure piping preferred. ASME Code welding experience strongly preferred. Ability to perform mechanical repair, installation, and equipment alignment. Must be able to pass required weld testing. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work safely in industrial plants and shutdown environments. Shop-only welding experience will not meet the field experience requirement. Combo Welder-Field Tech
