Job Description
GSM Industrial, a family-owned custom fabricator and mechanical contractor in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an experienced Agricultural Millwright / Foreman. In this field-based role, you'll lead crews installing, aligning, and maintaining grain handling and industrial process equipment, conveyors, and structural components. You'll interpret blueprints, coordinate daily work, ensure rigorous safety compliance, and deliver high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Lead and supervise millwright crews on industrial and agricultural projects Install, align, and maintain conveyors, bucket elevators, grain handling and processing equipment Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and manufacturer specifications Coordinate daily work plans, assign tasks, and ensure project milestones are met Oversee rigging, lifting, and equipment setting with strict adherence to safety standards Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs and preventive maintenance Collaborate with project managers, fabricators, and customers to deliver turnkey solutions Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with GSM Industrial standards Required Skills Industrial millwrighting Mechanical installation and alignment Rigging and lifting operations Blueprint and schematic reading Welding and cutting (MIG/Stick/Oxy-fuel) Preventive and corrective maintenance Crew supervision and scheduling Industrial safety and OSHA compliance Troubleshooting mechanical systems Use of hand and power tools
