About the Role The Millwright plays a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and systems throughout the facility. This position supports daily operations by ensuring equipment reliability and by performing a broad range of mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and cranemaintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and technical diagrams
Perform maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems
Apply advanced welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick (including stainless), and gas welding
Operate mobile equipment safely and effectively
Conduct routine and preventive crane maintenance using proper safe rigging methods
Install, align, and maintain gear reductions and motor/reducer couplings
Work comfortably and safely at heights
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Collaborate effectively with team members and support crossfunctional operations
Meet attendance expectations and complete additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Dedication to safe work practices
High school diploma or GED
Completion of the EQS inhouse Apprentice Program or minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial setting (steelmaking experience strongly preferred)
Ability to pass written, blueprint, hydraulic, and welding assessments
Valid driver's license preferred (driving is not an essential job function but license status is monitored per company policy)
