Millwright

Job Description

Overview:
The millwright would be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairing equipment. There would also be the opportunity to build/create equipment in our shop.
Job responsibilities:
Knowledge of feed mill equipment (including but not limited to, elevators/drags/augers/mixers/roller mills/hammer mills/crimpers/blenders). Maintain equipment so it stays clean helping ensure product quality. Communicate clearly and interact well with co-workers and mill manager to keep manufacturing up and running. Troubleshoot issues, figuring out what could be causing break down/shut down of equipment. Comfort "working at height" on elevators and other types of equipment.
Skills and Abilities:
Welding (both tig and mig) Metal Fabrication Knowledge of PLC systems (benefit but not required) Must be able to work at times in a dusty environment Must be able to diagnose problems and use creative problem solving where multiple factors could be causing the issue Must be able to work well with numbers Must be flexible when emergencies arise during the work day
Hours and Benefits:
7 A.M. to 4 P.M. Monday thru Friday.
