A Millwright installs and assembles large industrial machines, such as the equipment in manufacturing facilities. Disassembles and moves machinery between factory sites, and makes repairs. May work at power plants and construction sites.
Perform repair, assemble/disassemble, test, paint and ship wellhead equipment.
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities :
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations. Maintain inventory for all identified components and sub-assemblies for wellhead equipment. Test equipment based on specifications. Checking compatibility of equipment, evaluating and inspecting condition, dry fitting and communicating relevant information with internal sources. Servicing equipment as requested by customers in accordance with maintenance procedures. Repairing equipment as requested by customers and as necessary due to field malfunctions. Identifying and ensuring appropriate tools, backup equipment and parts are available. Maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction by providing timely and competent service Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education, Training, Experience :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations :
None required.
