We are currently seeking an experienced Rollomatic CNC Set‑Up Operator to join our team. Position Overview The Rollomatic CNC Set‑Up Operator is responsible for setting up, programming adjustments, operating, and maintaining Rollomatic grinding machines to produce precision round tools. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience with carbide tool grinding. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinders (e.g., 529Xw, 620XS, 628WX, 630WX, Grind Smart series) for round tool production Read and interpret blueprints, tool drawings, and engineering specifications Load programs, make offsets, and perform minor edits to ensure tool geometry accuracy Perform first‑piece inspection and in‑process checks using appropriate measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, optical equipment, etc.) Monitor machine performance and tool quality, making necessary adjustments Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles Troubleshoot machine issues and work with maintenance/engineering as needed Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records Follow all safety procedures and hazard reporting and company quality standards
Qualifications Required:
Math skills using metrics, decimals, and fractions Proficiency using precision measurement tools Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred:
