Maintenance Specialist- Join our growing team at GrafTech! GrafTech has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our St. Marys, PA facility. This position will be on a 12-hour rotating shift. This is a large industrial setting and work conditions can involve both indoor and outdoor operations. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Perform necessary inspection and repair to all plant equipment while following site and regulatory health, safety & environmental policies, and procedures. Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on, motors, cranes, lathes, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other production machines: ability to read blueprints, sketches, operations manuals, engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using specialized maintenance tools and measuring devices. Working at heights, and outdoor environments year-round. The ideal candidate would possess five years industrial maintenance experience. A technical training degree or equivalent experience is a plus. Experience with mig and stick welding is also preferred.
