Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Millwright to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities by applying your mechanical, electrical, and technical skills to keep equipment running efficiently and safely. Duties Install, align, and assemble heavy machinery using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage components. Repair or replace defective parts through welding (stick welding), electrical diagnostics, or equipment repair techniques. Read electrical blueprints and schematics to identify system faults and implement effective solutions. Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely to access elevated machinery or work areas. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities and track equipment history. Skills Proven experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance processes. Expertise in mechanical systems, industrial electrician work, and troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Skilled in using precision tools such as dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Ability to perform welding tasks including stick welding with a focus on safety and quality standards. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics involving voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters; experience with high voltage systems is a plus. Strong analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to effectively resolve issues on-site or in the field. Valid certifications for industrial electrician work; experience operating scissor lifts; knowledge of HVAC/R systems is advantageous.
