Multi-Skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Supermarket Supply, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hands-on Multi-Skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and general plant infrastructure. This position requires a well-rounded individual who can troubleshoot problems, complete preventive maintenance, perform repairs, and assist with equipment installations and facility improvement projects. Starting Salary:

$25 to $30/hour DOE, with a review after 90 days Primary Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility systems Maintain equipment such as laser cutters, waterjets, press brakes, shears, folding machines, powder-coating equipment, air compressors, and material-handling equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and work efficiently to minimize production downtime Complete basic electrical troubleshooting involving motors, switches, sensors, wiring, and control components Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding, and minor machining as needed Complete general facility repairs involving plumbing, lighting, doors, walls, roofing, and other building components Assist with equipment installations, relocations, modifications, and improvement projects Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential safety concerns Maintain accurate preventive-maintenance and repair records Identify replacement parts and communicate purchasing needs to management Maintain an organized maintenance area and properly care for company tools Follow lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and all company safety policies Coordinate with Leads and management to prioritize repairs and scheduled maintenance Assist outside contractors and service technicians when specialized work is required Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or related skilled-trades experience required Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Experience with welding and metal fabrication is strongly preferred Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and basic drawings Ability to use hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Dependable attendance and willingness to respond to urgent equipment problems Basic computer skills for maintenance records, parts research, and documentation Relevant technical training, certifications, or trade experience are beneficial Must be a Core Value fit Physical Requirements This position requires extended standing and walking, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and working in and around manufacturing equipment. The employee must be able to lift and handle tools, parts, and materials associated with industrial maintenance duties. Work may occasionally be performed at heights, in confined areas, outdoors, or in hot manufacturing conditions. Required personal protective equipment must be worn.
