- Maintenance Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
- Safely works together with Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to make sure that all building, equipment, and machines are running properly; troubleshoots issues by observing mechanical/electrical devices in operation; removes defective parts by dismantling devices; uses hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools; examines form and texture of parts; determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; documents all maintenance activity.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- + 3+ years of specialized industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, required + Thorough knowledge of basic industrial electricity, high and low voltage, and AC/DC currents + Thorough knowledge of mechanical components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes + Possess basic hand tools to complete most tasks; specialized tools will be provided + Experience and ability reading blueprints and technical diagrams + Basic mathematical skills including all units of measure, fractions, and decimals + Takes direction well and can read and comprehend complex detailed instructions and correspondence, delivered verbally and written + Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel (both individually and in a team environment).
