Job Title:

Millwright Job Description As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, dismantling, relocating, and assembling industrial machinery and production equipment. You will perform equipment alignment, leveling, and rigging operations while reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and equipment specifications. Your role will include troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and process equipment. You will also assist with plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities Install, dismantle, relocate, and assemble industrial machinery and production equipment. Perform equipment alignment, leveling, and rigging operations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and equipment specifications. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and process equipment. Perform bearing replacements, shaft alignments, belt changes, and mechanical rebuilds. Assist with plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and capital improvement projects. Operate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and rigging equipment. Work closely with project supervisors and customer personnel to complete projects on schedule. Follow all site-specific safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all project locations. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in Millwright, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Installation, or related fields. Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, food processing, paper, steel, chemical, or industrial facilities. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience with precision alignment and equipment installation preferred. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to travel to various customer sites and work extended hours as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 certification. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Clarksville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
