The Millwright will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely. Responsibilities Install, assemble, disassemble, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs. Troubleshoot equipment and identify mechanical issues. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and equipment specifications. Align, level, and position machinery and equipment. Install and replace bearings, belts, gears, shafts, motors, and other mechanical components. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical equipment. Assist with rigging and safely moving heavy machinery and equipment. Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed. Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and alignment. Maintain accurate and organized work areas. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. Qualifications Previous experience as a Millwright, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Mechanical Technician preferred. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience working with industrial machinery and equipment. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience with equipment alignment and installation. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Rigging experience is preferred. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions throughout the shift. Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment. Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures. Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety requirements.
