Job Description
Anchored Kitchen is a commercial kitchen equipment contractor in the middle of a major, high-profile build in Nashville — a large-scale, fast-moving commercial food-service installation with a demanding schedule and no room for a learning curve. The project is already underway and we need to add two experienced installers who can walk onto an active job site and be productive on day one. We are not training for this position — you should already have real installation experience under your belt. What you'll be doing Setting, leveling, assembling, and securing commercial kitchen equipment — cook lines, refrigeration and walk-ins, exhaust hoods, shelving, prep stations, ware-washing, and more Reading and working from kitchen equipment drawings, cut sheets, and spec books Coordinating final connections with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical trades on an active construction site Uncrating, staging, and protecting equipment; handling and moving heavy units safely Verifying installed equipment against the equipment schedule and flagging damage, shortages, or backorders Keeping the work area clean, safe, and on schedule alongside other trades What we're looking for Proven, hands-on experience installing commercial/foodservice kitchen equipment — ideally on commercial construction or large-venue projects Comfortable reading equipment plans, shop drawings, and manufacturer spec sheets Solid mechanical aptitude with your own hand tools Able to safely handle heavy equipment and work on your feet through a full construction day Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a crew with minimal supervision Able to pass any site-required background check and safety orientation Nice to have
