$48.52 per hour•No per diem
Overtime:
Time-and-a-half after 40 hours
Ideal Start Date:
August 24, 2026 Schedule First week (starting ~Aug 24): Monday-Saturday, 10-hour shifts (approximately 60 hours) August 31•October 15: 7 days a week, 12-hour shifts Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Millwright to join our industrial maintenance team for a short-term, high-intensity project involving rotating equipment, pumps, shafts, and roller table work. This is hands-on field work in a heavy industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform precision coupling alignments using Easy-Laser systems Cut old gears off shafts and sweat new couplings onto new shafts Install shafts Set seals on pumps Set lifts on pumps Align rolls on a roller table Layout motor bases Support related millwright tasks as required on site Requirements Proven millwright experience with rotating equipment, pumps, shaft work, and precision alignment Preferably NCCER certified Comfortable and proficient with Easy-Laser alignment tools Ability to use a transit level Experience aligning rolls on roller tables Experience laying out motor bases Ability to work the demanding schedule outlined above (including 7 days/week and long shifts during the peak period) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work safely in an industrial environment Rigging experience is an asset Ability to follow structured break schedules Strong punctuality and reliability Compensation Straight time: $48.52/hour
Overtime:
1.5× after 40 hours This is a temporary project role with a clear end date around mid-September, offering significant overtime opportunity during the peak period. Ability to move onto future projects for the right candidate.
