Job Description
KP Staffing Pasadena is now hiring Operational Maintenance Specialist in Baytown, TX! Job Summary The operational maintenance specialist will diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment to minimize downtime and support efficient operations. This role also performs preventive maintenance, monitors equipment performance, and assists with maintenance documentation and team support. Pay $27 per hour Shift 1st shift Duties Follow production closely and respond immediately to equipment-related issues Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other equipment malfunctions Conduct periodic inspections to identify potential problems in other areas of the pipe mill Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns Communicate and work together with workstation operators Keep spare parts of critical equipment and manage consumables Take notes of points requiring maintenance and notify the supervisor and engineer Give feedback to the operations engineer and mill manager Keep maintenance parameters and settings within the MES/PC Follow all PPE policies and safety rules Follow the 5S implementation procedure Responsibilities Train and mentor operations personnel and maintenance technicians Train other workers on maintenance of equipment Qualifications A high school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 5 years within a similar work field is required Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required Manual dexterity required for operating machinery, hand tools, and hand-held measurement devices Experience operating measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers Knowledge of mechanic assembly, welding, and working with required tolerance conditions Advanced mechanics knowledge is required Strong ability to follow up on work Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends when needed Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Pasadena TX for an in-person interview or call/text 346-388-2029.
