Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical partner in ensuring operational continuity by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex manufacturing machinery. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability across multiple facility sites through proactive maintenance and expert technical intervention. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the longevity and peak performance of industrial mechanical and electrical systems. Diagnose and resolve complex malfunctions in heavy processing equipment, including CNC machinery, plasma cutters, and drilling apparatus. Install and maintain electrical infrastructure, including wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers, ensuring full compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Perform precision fabrication and metalwork using welding and oxyacetylene equipment to support equipment repairs and modifications. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters to troubleshoot electrical systems and VFD/PLC components. Manage rigging activities and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and high lifts, to facilitate safe equipment installation and repair. Collaborate across facility locations to provide technical support and ensure consistent operational standards. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance capacity. Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system repair. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with VFDs and PLC diagnostics. Proven ability to safely operate shop tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting machinery. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working at heights on ladders or scaffolding. Preferred Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Formal welding certification or advanced metal fabrication experience. Prior experience with vibration monitoring and predictive maintenance technologies. Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
