Industrial Maintenance Specialist

Job Description

About the Role As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence by performing critical repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery. You will leverage your technical expertise to minimize downtime, optimize equipment performance, and contribute to a safe, high-efficiency production environment. Responsibilities Execute break-fix repairs and routine preventative maintenance to sustain peak operational functionality of mechanical and control systems. Diagnose and resolve issues within electrical circuitry and mechanical assemblies to ensure continuous production flow. Utilize metalworking tools, including lathes, drill presses, and grinders, to fabricate or recondition essential machine components. Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment history within the CMMS platform. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Uphold rigorous safety standards and 5S housekeeping protocols to foster a secure and organized workspace. Collaborate with the maintenance team to support complex repairs and cross-functional project requirements. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associate degree in a technical field or 18+ months of relevant industrial maintenance experience. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to safely operate standard hand tools and power equipment. Strong commitment to workplace safety and situational awareness. Preferred Skills Experience performing basic welding tasks for equipment repair. Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting. Prior experience utilizing CMMS software for work order management. Dedication to ongoing technical self-study and professional development.
