ANDRITZ SEPARATION USA
operates in a niche market that provides overhaul and rehabilitation to equipment for separating solids and liquids. The work encompasses a wide range of repair, replacement, and improvement services to restore dependability and sustainability to wastewater treatment and chemical facilities, or to increase capacity and/or efficiency. Projects range in size and scope, but routinely span from component assessment, design, and procurement to site installation and commissioning.
PRINCIPLES DUTIES
Major responsibilities are listed but not limited to the following duties Machinist must have knowledge of, and be able to competently and safely operate manual and CNC lathes, set up and dial in parts with minimal instruction Use manual and power tools, overhead cranes and forklifts, and other machine tools as assigned. Use metal cutting tooling. Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments as assigned. Read drawings and make sketches. Interact with and clearly communicate with co-workers in a team-like atmosphere. Stand on your feet at least 8 hr per day. Dead lift at least 50 lbs occasionally Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time. Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3 years of Machinist / Millwright experience in a constructions or manufacturing environment. 2 years apprenticeship and/or Associates degree. 2 years of experience working with motorized equipment and various array of manual and electrical hand tools.
