Maruichi Stainless Tube Texas Corporation is hiring a dependable Maintenance Staff team member to support our production facility in Seguin, TX. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on mechanical skills, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. General Position Summary This position is responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of the plant equipment and facility. Assist supervisors in leading a team of Plant engineering and Maintenance employees to maintain facilities. Able to work safely and, work closely with Supervisor to achieve safety, quality and production goals. Duties include scheduling and maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plant machinery, installing and commissioning new machinery, performing scheduled maintenance and identifying preventive maintenance requirements. Ability to write clear, concise reports of daily production and other conditions that affect the operation of the equipment; perform work in accordance with all safety rules and regulations and report potentially dangerous situations to appropriate personnel. In addition, this position is required to evaluate and identify mechanical component stocking requirements. Essential Job Functions
- Adhere to company health and safety standards.
- Follow the established policies, rules and regulations and procedures.
- Responsible for implementing new machine installations and related repairs/adjustment and for maintenance, read down and rebuild.
- Troubleshoot about this company's machines.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with proper precautions.
- Able to operate power tools.
- Complete work orders on time.
- Maintain and keep clean equipment and tools in the maintenance area to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
- Maintain inventory record of the parts, components, tools and consumable
- Seeking constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
- Write maintenance Reports and records all mechanical issues and problems to manager for solution.
- Perform periodic checks, inspection and maintenance on facilities, machines, and other devices.
- Maintains good communication with supervisors, office staff members, co-workers, and outside contacts. Others and Miscellaneous
- Repair and replace facilities and parts to keep it in working order.
- Assist production teams with the adjustment, modification, replacement, or installation of mechanical equipment.
- Communicates with manufacturers of machines on problems as needed.
- Operate the production machinery when assigned to work in production process and understand the mechanism
- Participate in safety activities and make modifications to improve the machine and facility.
- Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Skills
- Read mechanical blueprints. (If not, be willing to acquire the knowledge to read blueprints)
- Use testing tools to identify and report mechanical problems.
- Understanding of troubleshooting, installation, and repair procedures.
- Ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook to create and revise maintenance documents in English.
- Ability to source needed components for maintenance.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with disassemble and assemble small equipment (pump etc.) or small parts (chains, valves, cylinders, belts, bolts, etc.).
- Experience with Tig and Arc Welding (preferred)
- Experience with working at heights (preferred) Tools & Equipment
- Safety Glasses, Gloves, Hardhat, Protective clothing (if necessary), Earplugs (if necessary), Safety shoes.
- Personal Computer, Basic Industrial Tools, Basic repair tools.
Certificates / Licenses
- Mobile equipment (Forklift and Crane) (preferred)
