Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Installers and Residential Service Technicians specializing in industrial and commercial systems! In this energetic role, you will be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients experience optimal comfort, safety, and efficiency in their buildings. We are looking for motivated professionals eager to apply their technical skills in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and opportunities to excel. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure peak performance and longevity. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and conduct electrical diagnostics for system repairs. Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance procedures clearly. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, ammonia refrigeration, and mechanical components. Maintain detailed service reports, logs of repairs performed, and inventory of tools and parts used during field service. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in mechanical systems repair and installation. Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems or related mechanical equipment. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration processes. Familiarity with plumbing systems, boiler operation, ammonia refrigeration systems, and HVAC system maintenance practices. Ability to use hand tools effectively along with specialized diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC system installation procedures including ductwork setup and equipment troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in electrical systems or building automation are a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid van driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel within assigned service area. Pay:
$20.00 - $95.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
