Job Description
Pay starts at $25.00 an hour DOE Pay scales with experience and expertise. We are seeking skilled workers and are open to negotiation with the right candidates.
Duties:
- Fabricate and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts
- Duties performed both in shop and on site
- Make field decision, setting and troubleshooting various types of equipment such as screw conveyers, belt conveyers, structural components, etc.
- Operate minimal lifting equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
