As a Maintenance Technician 1 or 2, you will be a vital part of our operations, responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment and facilities. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Additional technical certifications preferred) Has minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting or equivalent. Has strong mechanical aptitude. Has a strong working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles. Has a basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting. Understands basic hand tool functions. Has a great team focused attitude. Is excited to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Is physically able to perform the duties of the job. Is able to operate support equipment (i.e. Forklifts, Scissor Lifts) Has strong communication skills. Is willing to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays. Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance :
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during maintenance activities. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventative maintenance procedures and tasks on equipment.
Troubleshooting and Repairs :
Utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Operational Support:
Work with other departments to ensure overall equipment effectiveness.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other maintenance technicians and relevant departments to coordinate maintenance activities, share knowledge, and provide technical support when needed.
Training and Mentoring:
Provide guidance and training to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills and ensure the effective transfer of knowledge within the team. Other duties as assigned
