Job Description
Millwright Helper - Industrial Cianbro United States, Vermont, Brattleboro Aug 05, 2026 Job Responsibilities
Assist with installing machinery and equipment according to general arrangement layout plans, blueprints, specifications, and other drawings in an industrial environment.
Help to dismantle and repair machinery and equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbar, and other hand tools.
Assist in moving machinery and equipment using winches, jacks, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Assist in assembling and installing machinery and equipment such as shafting, conveyors, pulpers, vats, agitators, tram rails, pumps, and motors using hand tools and power tools.
Assist in constructing foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel.
Sets base plates to line and level and installs grout beneath them.
Assist with installing of couplings and bearings, both interference and slip-fit. Qualifications/Requirements
Some experience in a construction environment is preferred.
Must have some understanding or experience with blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Must have some experience or knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, scales, laser alignment machines, optical levels, and plumb bobs.
Must have some experience in using precision tools such as inside & outside micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

The compensation range for this position is $16.00 - $26.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
