Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician/Millwright Pacific Veneer - Aberdeen, WA Pacific Veneer is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment and systems to support safe and efficient veneer manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems Diagnose equipment issues and minimize production downtime Install, modify and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes and related systems Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve equipment reliability Qualifications Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience with welding, fabrication and electrical systems is a plus Ability to work independently and in a team environment Understanding of industrial safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures Ability to lift, climb, bend and work in a physically demanding environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Compensation & Benefits Competitive wage based on experience Medical, dental and vision benefits Paid time off and holiday pay Retirement plan opportunities Stable, full-time employment with growth potential Schedule Full-time Overtime may be required Pacific Veneer is committed to producing quality veneer products while maintaining a safe, team-oriented workplace.
