In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep production lines running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technically skilled professionals eager to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status updates accurately. Diagnose electrical problems involving low voltage, high voltage, electrical systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct welding tasks including stick welding to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to perform precise repairs on industrial equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment failures and implement effective solutions promptly. Operate lifts such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated machinery or components. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to electrical diagnostics, high voltage work, and heavy machinery operation. Skills
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and makes adjustments to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and support equipment
  • Performs inspection of Injection Molding machines, Dryer Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, and support equipment
  • Performs changeovers of injection tooling and robotic equipment per production demands
  • Performs preventive maintenance on Injection Molding Machines, Dryer Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, and support equipment
  • Troubleshoots electrical control and distribution systems to include 24vac, 120vac, 277vac and 480vac controller and monitor control systems
  • Some programming and troubleshooting of PLC's
  • Orders and installs replacement parts for machines
  • Prepares reports documenting work performed
  • Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines
  • Fabricates and welds basic steel projects
  • Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills /

Pay:
$33.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
