is currently recruiting for a Millwright opportunity with a well-established industrial manufacturing operation in Morton, WA. This role is ideal for experienced maintenance professionals who thrive in fast-paced production environments and are skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of heavy industrial equipment.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$37.29 per hour Additional $1.50/hour differential for swing, graveyard, and weekend shifts Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employee Assistance Program Life Insurance coverage for employees and families Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave Referral Bonus Program Retirement Savings Plan Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage Optional benefits including Pet, Illness, and Accident Insurance Key Responsibilities Maintain safe work practices at all times Diagnose, repair, and maintain mill machinery and equipment Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Complete welding and fabrication work as required Carry out carpentry and mechanical repair tasks where needed Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings Dismantle, move, align, assemble, and install machinery and equipment Work on conveyors, motors, chains, valves, belts, cylinders, and related systems Construct and prepare machine foundations Lubricate and service equipment Maintain clean and organized work areas Continue developing knowledge of mill technology and equipment Support additional maintenance projects as assigned Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in industrial maintenance, millwright, or related mechanical positions Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs and work order systems Proven troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance manuals, operating instructions, and blueprints Willingness to join and remain in good standing with the applicable union Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana (THC), due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role
