Since 1972, we have been working with clients to create bespoke solutions for landscape and architectural projects of all sizes. Operating from approximately 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Tacoma, Washington, our team of roughly 65 employees designs, casts, fabricates, finishes, and ships architectural products for projects across North America. We are a make-to-order manufacturer with a mix of standard products and custom project work. Every job is different, and the accuracy of our cost and lead time estimates determines whether we deliver on time and protect our margin. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician / Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment in our foundry environment. This role is essential to supporting safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime. Install, align, dismantle, and relocate machinery as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively. Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment concerns. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or GED. Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and alignment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Trade school, apprenticeship, or industrial maintenance training. Welding, fabrication, or rigging experience. Experience with CMMS systems. Electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480V, 240V, and 110V systems. Forklift, crane, or aerial lift certifications. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday. Comfortable working around heavy equipment, heat, dust, noise, and varying environmental conditions.
