Pay commensurate with experience. Industrial Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift Weekends 5a-5p Fri-Sun Work 34.5 hours and get paid for 40 hours! Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures Support the installation of new equipment Assist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime Ensure all repairs are documented in the CMMS Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program and hearing and eye protection policies Perform other duties as directed by supervisor and management.
Required Education and Experience Work Experience :
3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
Computer Skills:
PLC's, CMMS, Microsoft Office Cross-functional skills: Ability to complete multiple job assignments including machine operation, fabrication, welding, read PLC logic.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills:
Ability to lift 100 pounds, walk, stand, bend and twist, climb ladders, work from elevated positions, operate fork, scissor and boom lifts, ability to see up close, in color and adjust focus, read schematics and blueprints.
Physical Environment:
Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climate
Preferred Education Education:
Associate Degree Industrial Mechanical Technician Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able eligible to work for any employer in the United States. Why We are
