Job Description J&D Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Full Time Maintenance Team Member! Tuesday - Friday 4, 10 hour days or Monday - Friday 5, 8 hour days!
FIRST SHIFT!
Summary:
Ensure that all production machinery is kept in good operational condition by conducting routine, preventative maintenance and fixing problems with machinery as needed. Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, automation and computer skills required to provide maintenance operations for the building, industrial equipment, and company vehicles.
Responsibilities Include:
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following work orders. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. Order new parts as needed for machines. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions. Record maintenance and repair work performed. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Assemble new equipment. Assist in workstation development. Manufacture required jigs and/or workstations. Maintain facility both inside and outside. Communicate with and assist other workers in work area. Follow good housekeeping practices. Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required. Identify and immediately correct any safety hazards in work area. Will use a company vehicle to pick up needed parts, equipment, and supplies for maintenance needs. 3-5 years maintenance experience preferred.
