Job Description
Responsibilities Straight 3rd shift. Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am. Overtime hours will be required both during the week and on some weekends. The qualified candidate is preferred but not required to have knowledge in the following areas: AC/DC wiring methods AC/DC drives/motors/VFD's & servo motors PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff) HMI Mechanical systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts) Pneumatics and hydraulics Design and fabricating is a plus but not required Preventive & predictive maintenance on production machinery Mill and Lathe experience is a plus but not required Fanuc/Robot experience is a plus Experience using a CMMS system Conveyor systems The following lists the job tasks and responsibilities that the Maintenance Technician will be performing: Works safely and follows all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment. Reading blueprints, diagrams, electrical schematic and hydraulic drawings to determine work requirements Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power tools Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Adjust machinery and troubleshoot defective parts Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance/preventative work on machinery Other job tasks and projects as assigned Qualifications All candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
