We are a fabless semiconductor company leveraging wide bandgap processes and innovative circuit design to solve complex RF challenges. Our product portfolio includes high-power RF switches, low-noise amplifiers, and power amplifiers-essential building blocks for 5G infrastructure, aerospace and defense, automotive systems, and advanced consumer electronics. Overview TagoreTech is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented RF Technician to join our team. This role focuses on the assembly, testing, and characterization of high-power RF circuits in a dynamic laboratory environment. Working on the front lines of hardware validation, you will directly support our R D team by bringing real-world bench measurements to life and ensuring our equipment and test setups are always performing at their best. Key Responsibilities Assemble RF circuits and subassemblies from schematics, engineering documentation, and build instructions. Perform precision surface-mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering on high-frequency PCBs. Set up and execute complex RF circuit characterization and test procedures. Operate specialized laboratory equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. Assist in circuit troubleshooting, system calibration, and ESD-compliant test setup maintenance. Maintain organized lab benches, ensuring equipment readiness and safe handling of electronic assemblies. Document test results, procedures, and data with meticulous attention to detail and repeatability. Required Qualifications Associate's degree (2-year) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, RF Technology, or a related technical field. Hands-on exposure to RF or electronics laboratory environments through coursework, internships, or practical work experience. Demonstrated precision soldering skills (SMT/through-hole) and ability to read electrical schematics. Familiarity with standard RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators). Solid understanding of laboratory best practices, including safe assembly handling and ESD safety protocols. Strong attention to detail, a disciplined technical approach, and solid problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced R D team environment. Success Traits Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and mastering RF technology. Positive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills. Comfort and confidence working hands-on with electronic hardware and lab equipment. Persistence and critical thinking when troubleshooting bench issues. Strong sense of ownership over lab work and commitment to accurate documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced environment where innovation is encouraged. Even if you don't meet every single qualification, candidates with a strong technical foundation, hands-on aptitude, and a eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply. Tagore offers a collaborative culture where your contributions directly impact next-generation wireless systems.
