Direct Hire Job Description Under the direction of the research and development leadership team, this position supports externally and internally funded R D programs, existing product fulfillment, and new product development. The role involves hands-on assembly, testing, measurement, documentation, and troubleshooting of electronic and photonic hardware in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble electronic and/or photonic hardware and perform tests and measurements to support research and development programs, existing product orders, and new product development Generate and maintain organized documentation of design configurations and associated measured data Participate in design engineering and troubleshooting discussions Assist with product improvement activities and new product introduction Specify and purchase components, balancing cost and performance considerations Maintain and organize R D and product development laboratories Qualifications U.S. citizenship required Associate of Science degree or higher Minimum of five years of experience in electronic and/or photonic testing, assembly, and evaluation Strong knowledge of active and passive electronic and/or photonic components and subsystems, including testing methods Experience with network analyzers, electronic spectrum analyzers, noise analyzers, optical spectrum analyzers, and/or related equipment Ability to work independently with little supervision Hands-on assembly skills, including soldering and drilling Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, prioritize workload, and work under firm, quick-turnaround deadlines Experience with both electronic and photonic components and systems preferred Current or past DoD security clearance preferred
