Akkodis is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Technician for a Contract job with a client in Bothell, WA . The ideal candidate will have experience in RF testing, manufacturing validation, and production testing environments , along with a strong understanding of RF fundamentals and electronic test equipment.

Rate Range:

$27/hour to $32/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Radio Frequency (RF)

Technician Job Responsibilities Include:

Perform production validation testing on RF products and assemblies to ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards. Operate RF test equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and accurately interpret test results to identify product performance issues. Support troubleshooting and debugging activities by investigating production failures and assisting with root cause analysis. Verify RF performance characteristics and impedance matching requirements throughout the manufacturing and validation process. Follow established manufacturing procedures, testing protocols, and documentation requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and completion of a Technical School program or certification in Electronics, RF Technology, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three to five years of experience working within a manufacturing, production testing, or electronics assembly environment. Demonstrated experience performing production validation testing, preferably in a manufacturing environment rather than an engineering quality assurance setting. Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including impedance matching, RF signal behavior, and test methodologies. Hands-on experience using RF laboratory equipment, including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and other electronic measurement instruments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with RF communications products, wireless devices, telecommunications equipment, or related electronic systems. Knowledge of manufacturing test processes, production troubleshooting, and failure analysis techniques. Basic soldering experience and the ability to perform minor electronic component repairs when needed. Familiarity with electronic schematics, technical documentation, and assembly drawings.
