The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of RF, wireless communications, and related infrastructure in a busy marine terminal environment. Candidates with experience in Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), wireless networking, port operations, container terminals, or industrial facilities are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain RF and wireless communication systems. Install and support RTLS infrastructure, antennas, readers, and related communications equipment. Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling. Perform equipment commissioning, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation documentation. Support network-connected devices and IP-based communications systems. Conduct system testing and performance verification. Complete service reports, test results, and project documentation. Adhere to all safety requirements and site-specific procedures. Work effectively in active marine terminal and industrial environments. Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other trades to ensure successful project completion. Required Qualifications Experience as an RF Technician, Wireless Communications Technician, Communications Technician, Field Technician, or similar role. Experience with RF systems, wireless communications, antennas, or related technologies. Familiarity with low-voltage systems and structured cabling installations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF communications systems, wireless networking, and antenna installations. Experience with Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) is considered a major asset. Experience with IP networking and network troubleshooting. Fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing experience. Experience working in container terminals, marine terminals, ports, logistics facilities, rail yards, or other industrial environments. TWIC Card, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, or other relevant safety certifications. Experience working around container handling equipment and port operations.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
