The Role As a Refrigeration Supermarket Technician, you'll be the technician Denver-area customers count on to keep their refrigeration and food-service equipment running. You'll service rack systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, HVAC, and self-contained equipment, and perform the repairs and preventive maintenance that keep their businesses operating without interruption. • Services racks, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, HVAC, and self-contained equipment for the customer base
• Repairs and overhauls equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Performs general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors
• Diagnoses equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies and performs preventive maintenance to ensure quality work performance for the customer base
• Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers, co-workers, and management
• Understanding of electrical wiring schematics
• Working knowledge of single systems, small rack systems, display cases, ice machines and walk-in boxes
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces and electrical
• Able to report to work on time with dependable work history
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• We will consider someone with strong experience in commercial HVAC as candidate to train and develop into a rack tech.
• Willing to work overtime when needed, especially during the months of April thru October
• Willing to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background Education and Experience
• EPA certification
• Valid Colorado Driver's License including a clean driving record
• High School diploma/GED
