Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and related equipment with precision and efficiency within a commercial kitchen environment Diagnose refrigeration, electrical and HVAC issues and perform electrical system troubleshooting to identify faults quickly. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, diagrams to ensure accurate repairs and installations. Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance, including filter changes, refrigerant recharges, and mechanical system inspections to optimize performance. Troubleshoot equipment problems related to refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, boilers, and appliances to minimize downtime. Perform HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) system repairs with attention to detail while adhering to safety standards and EPA regulations within Commercial kitchen environment Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring satisfaction with all service interactions. Utilize hand tools and knowledge to repair or replace faulty components efficiently. Assist in HVAC and cooler box system installation projects by following blueprints and schematics accurately. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for accountability and future reference. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in commercial refrigeration or HVAC systems. Prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment is highly valued for understanding processes. Strong knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with refrigeration diagnostics is essential. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to refrigeration units or HVAC setups enhances your versatility in this role. Valid EPA certification (or equivalent) for handling refrigerants is required for compliance with environmental standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. A valid driver's license with experience operating commercial vans or trucks is necessary for on-site service calls.

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
