- Vacation, holidays, and sick time✔ Boot Allowance & Safety Gear Reimbursement ✔ Training Through Amerit University ✔ ASE Certification Reimbursement & Bonuses ✔ Employee Referral Bonuses (Up to $500) ✔ Career Advancement Opportunities Nationwide What You'll Do Perform timely repairs and maintenance on reefer (refrigeration) units, including diesel-powered refrigeration systems Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical issues on trailer reefer units Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and service on A/C and refrigeration systems Conduct DOT inspections and trailer repairs when reefer units are in working condition Ensure vehicles and refrigeration units meet safety and compliance standards Accurately document repairs and complete work orders Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations What We're Looking For 5+ years' of hands-on experience working on reefer units and trailer refrigeration systems Strong proficiency and working knowledge of reefer (diesel-powered refrigeration) units, PMs, and A/C systems EPA Section 608 Certification required Required experience repairing refrigeration units (diesel engine) on heavy-duty trailers Valid driver's license Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below) Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required) Working Conditions This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases.
