Primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment, including refrigeration, rack systems, compressors, freezers, coolers, ice machines, and refrigeration controls. As a key player in our service operations, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of refrigeration equipment. Duties Diagnose and repair commercial refrigeration equipment. Including but not limited to walk in coolers and freezer, rack systems, reach in coolers, reach in freezers, frost tops, and ice machines. Perform refrigeration system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation of refrigeration equipment. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on electrical systems within refrigeration units, including building automation systems. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and implement solutions. Maintain detailed service records, complete reports, and documentation for all repairs and installations performed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system status, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations. Experience Proven experience as a refrigeration service technician specializing in commercial refrigeration with a strong foundation in refrigeration principles. Construction experience or background working on mechanical systems installation is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics, refrigeration design principles, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting is essential. Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems integration, and HVAC/R components is preferred. Ability to operate hand tools confidently along with testing devices such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience Currently hold an EPA Certification Clean driving record Valid Driver's License Pre-employment Background Screening (Criminal, Drug, DMV) required for ALL Positions Ability to pass a drug test Must be able to lift 50 lb. Roof access and ability to climb a ladder Ability to work daytime, nighttime, weekend and holiday for emergency service calls.
