Cartersville, GA | Weekly Pay | Benefits We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical HVAC and mechanical systems in a data center environment. This is a mission-critical facility where safety, reliability, and uptime are essential. Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial HVAC and mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Service chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, air handlers, pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, and BAS/BMS controls. Monitor equipment and respond to alarms or equipment issues. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Document inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Follow all
OSHA, LOTO, NFPA
70E, PPE, and site-specific safety requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years of commercial, industrial, or institutional HVAC/mechanical experience. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics. Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures. Ability to use basic electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Must pass required drug screen and background checks.
Preferred Experience:
Data center or other mission-critical facility experience. Experience with chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, HVAC controls, and
BAS/BMS. EPA 608
Universal, OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, or NATE certification. Experience in hospitals, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, power plant, or similar critical environments.
