Full Job Description General Purpose:
Responsible for processing and completing work orders, installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and performing equipment maintenance. You may also be required to advise on equipment upgrades and alternate cooling units.
Role qualifications:
Employee will need to be able to: Ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of the facility HVAC systems. Ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of the utilities support equipment, used to provide utilities to the HVAC and water preparation equipment, including boilers, chillers, and associated equipment and systems. The timely execution of preventive maintenance on the company's refrigeration systems and supporting equipment. Utilize and maintain work order system. Ensure facility HVAC systems and water processing and generation systems stay in a validated state.
Work responsibilities:
High school diploma or GED. Previous experience as a Refrigeration Technician. HVAC certification (preferred). Knowledge of local building codes. Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Physical demands:
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop. Employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs multiple times a daily. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent to the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
