Job Description
Refrigeration/HVAC SupervisorFull-Time | Non-Union | Strack & Van TilScheduleMonday through Friday, with some weekends and holidaysEmployment TypeFull-time, permanentOn-CallParticipation in the supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours emergenciesPosition SummaryThe Refrigeration/HVAC Supervisor oversees refrigeration and HVAC repair and maintenance activities, supports preventive maintenance efforts, supervises a team of more than 10 employees, and helps ensure work orders and emergency service needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform repairs and maintenance associated with refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Complete work orders and apply corrective and preventive measures in a timely manner.
Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
Supervise and provide day-to-day leadership for a team of more than 10 employees.
Participate in the supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Use knowledge of refrigeration and building control systems, including light programming, to support system operation and repairs.
Support asset management activities related to refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
Required QualificationsEPA refrigeration certification.
Refrigeration and HVAC experience.
Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of refrigeration and building controls, including light programming.
Asset management experience or knowledge.
Demonstrated core leadership skills.
Preferred QualificationJourneyman refrigeration certification.
