On-Site Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to join our team in Northwest Indiana. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial heating and cooling systems and hold a minimum EPA Type II certification . This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment while delivering excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems Refrigeration work for Coolers, Freezers & ice machines Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Handle refrigerants safely in compliance with EPA regulations Document work performed and communicate findings to upper management Maintain company tools, equipment, in good working condition Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices Train additional techniciansRequirements:
EPA Type II Certification (minimum) — Universal certification a plus 3+ years of HVAC field experience preferred 3+ Refrigeration experience Knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying environments (indoors/outdoors, heights, confined spaces) Strong communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferredPreferred Qualifications:
Universal EPA Certification Experience with furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, rooftop units, and mini-split systems NATE certification Familiarity with digital work order and dispatch systemsWhat We Offer:
