About Dermio Dermatology Dermio Dermatology is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through compassion, professionalism, and teamwork. As the first point of contact for our patients, our Call Center Representatives play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while helping our providers deliver outstanding care. Position Summary As a Medical Call Center Representative, you will serve as the voice of Dermio Dermatology by assisting patients with appointment scheduling, answering questions, verifying insurance information, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Schedule appointments for medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services Provide first-call resolution by assisting patients with scheduling, questions, and requests Verify insurance eligibility and collect patient financial responsibilities Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Gather required patient information and documentation prior to appointments Coordinate with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient care Monitor provider schedules and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or gaps Assist with electronic and physical document management Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED Previous customer service or relevant work experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-focused attitude Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems Reliable attendance and punctuality Team-oriented with a willingness to accept feedback and continuously improve Ability to travel between office locations as needed Preferred Previous medical call center or healthcare experience Dermatology experience Experience with medical scheduling and electronic health records (EMA/ModMed preferred) Insurance verification experience Knowledge of medical terminology Experience coordinating schedules for multiple providers Patient registration or intake experience Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

From $18.00 per hour
