Your impact Maintain chiller equipment with scheduled service to prevent downtime. Diagnose issues on operational systems using precise testing tools and your expertise. Repair or replace components to return equipment to specification. Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems: refrigerant handling, instrumentation, control valves, motors, motor controls, motor switch gear, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), soft-starts, pumps, exchangers, filters, and refrigeration controllers. Uphold strict safety practices aligned with company and industry standards. Take on additional assigned tasks to support team goals. Provide overtime support when requested—up to 15% annually (no more than 300 hours)—as directed by the client and/or upper management. How you'll succeed Stay composed and effective in fast-moving, occasionally high-pressure situations. Apply excellent problem-solving and analytical judgment. Leverage extensive knowledge of chiller systems and components. Use power and hand tools confidently and correctly. Operate thermometers, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic instruments to evaluate equipment. Interpret operation and repair manuals accurately. Follow instructions thoroughly and communicate clearly with customers. Your background High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Technical school training or apprenticeship preferred. Approximately three years of relevant experience preferred. Working conditions Outdoor work as required by the task. Extended periods in a stationary position. Ability to climb/descend ladders.
