Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in various settings. Does this position require Patient Care?No Essential Functions:
Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in various settings, such as commercial buildings, factories, and homes. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems. Ensure that refrigeration systems are functioning properly and efficiently. Install and maintain refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems. Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain necessary documentation. Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs in a timely manner. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Heating and Ventilation Engineer [Massachusetts]- Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters required Experience Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience 1-2 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of refrigeration systems, including how they work, how to diagnose problems, and how to repair them.
