Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Propane Service Technician and become a vital part of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient propane services to our valued customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting propane systems and appliances. Your mechanical expertise and proactive approach will ensure optimal performance of equipment while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, inspect, maintain, and repair propane systems, appliances, and mechanical equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to propane handling and storage Perform appliance repair including HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and other mechanical systems Assist with the installation of appliances such as heaters, stoves, water heaters, and other propane-powered devices Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed to ensure accurate documentation Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs or installations clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction at every interaction Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, or mechanical systems repair Strong knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic procedures for mechanical and electrical equipment Construction experience or familiarity with building codes related to appliance installation is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance operations (MRO) Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration is highly desirable Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork and communication in fast-paced environments Valid relevant certifications or licenses related to propane handling or mechanical systems are preferred but not mandatory Join us to make a difference by ensuring safe operation of propane systems while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills. Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
